WHEN DID THIS ALL START?

On January 1, 2013 the Moon Joggers took off on their first expedition – the moon. On May 23, 2013 we made our first landing on the moon and are now on our way back home. We blew our initial goal out of the water!

WHO IS MOON JOGGERS FOR?

Everybody! Our goal is to get people MOVING! Whether you are just getting off the couch and beginning your new journey to fitness, or you are out participating in 100 mile runs, we want you on our team. You will sign up, commit to a specified amount of miles for the year and then log your miles throughout the year on our website. Each mile you log brings us closer to our destination.

WHAT'S NEXT?

On January 1, 2014 Moon Joggers took off on their second mission: Voyage to Venus. As a group, we will travel 25 million miles to the planet Venus. We are currently looking for more people to join our crew. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this historic adventure!

Moon Jogger Testimonials from 2013

“We will laugh with you, cry with you, comfort you, bolster you, praise you, give you pointers, answer your questions, celebrate with you, mourn with you.. we don’t HAVE to actually see your face to care. And knowing that we all care will make the paths we share smoother, easier and more fun!!”
-Carolyn Guhman

“Small steps, or giant leaps, no matter what your goal is, know that you can achieve it. As a community we have been to the moon and back, a goal that some considered out of this world, but we blew it out of the water. As a community we will help you reach your individual goals, 5k or 50 k, together you will reach it.”
-Shaun Johnson

“Every mile matters. It took a team of scientists, engineers and astronauts to make the first Moon Landing a reality. Welcome the contributions of others, large or small, because none of us could get there alone.”
-Michelle Dyan Roberts

“Yes we don’t do this alone, no matter if we are – fast or slow, we walk or run, do trail or road, we are big or small, young or old every person’s mile or miles matters. As we do this to reach a destination we do it for ourselves and for those who cant or those who are in need so we try and give what we can while spending time on open road or trail routes to do what we love! We all Rise to the challenge!”
-Charl Henry Whitaker
